I thought I saw some good things out of him (JamO), and I also thought he had some late reactions to some plays. But heck, that's what I saw out of Little Animal the first couple of games this year and the same could be said of AJ Hawk for the Packers.
He needs to learn the D and react instead of think what he needs to do while a play developes. If he can make the jump to 'reaction mode' and let his speed and athleticism take over, he'll be fine (with the opportunity to be great). I hope to look back on this situation and be able to say, 'that was just the jump start JamO needed to propel himself into Buckeye Stardom.'
Then when Anderson comes back healthy and hungry we'll have Jamario, Nick P. & Russell with some solid starting experience, and some talented Redshirts waiting in the wings for depth.
I feel really bad for Anderson. He's gotta be a frustrated young man. It was great to see him coming into his own along with the rest of our young D. But he's got years ahead of him to make his mark. I hope he has a quick recovery and can get back to 100% for next season.
