How about you give up this tired victim routine?
What is it that you want? To be able to take away credit from OSU for what happened that night, but not have anyone argue with you about it?
Immediately after your "oh so innocent" contribution to this thread, you called someone out for making a small joke about Michigan.blueinfla;1474525; said:Sorry to disappoint, but no. That's all you guys do on here is bash UM, and anytime some fan, not from osu, even mentions osu, you guys jump 'em. Case in point, this very situation.
They didn't look very rusty in the 2nd half.I think if you ask every college football fan in American if they looked rusty, 98% would agree that they did.
I don't really care what you're "trying" to do. Defenses stop offenses. When you chalk it up to Texas being rusty, it trivializes the OSU defense. No two ways about it.I'm not trying to take away anything from OSU. Again, my comment was about TEXAS. If anything, I was taking away from them.

Not once have you denied that it was a swipe at OSU. Guess what? You're allowed to think it was Texas being rusty. We're also allowed to call you on it, particularly on BuckeyePlanet.

The only thing I remember from that game, through all the beer, was how bad Texas' offense looked. That's it. I have no idea how the OSU defense played.
This is the worst part of all... we don't ask outsiders to agree with us. But we do expect them to back up their statements and realize people are going to argue with them about OSU and be harsh to UM at times. You seem to take offense to us doing both of those things.Okay, okay. You win. Texas' offense played great that night, but OSU's defense was better.

blueinfla;1474512; said:Texas didn't play particularly well. They were certainly suffering from the month layoff.
osugrad21;1474603; said:Wasn't that layoff less than any Big 10 team's layoff?
So this factor only applies to one team in the equation?
Ok. Gotcha.
Trolling. Strike one.

Then there's the matter of how rusty Todd Boeckman was, not only since his last full game but having to rotate out of the game.scott91575;1474606; said:Yeah, I was going to make that point. Apparently Texas gets rusty, but OSU doesn't. Same effing layoff.
