Pulled every scholarship player off the floor and took them to the locker room along with all the coaches with 14.2 seconds left (Trailing 90-57)....left 5 Walk Ons in with the bench totally empty.

ESPN CLAIMS it was Florida State coach Leonard Hamiltons "suggestion" but if you watch the game you never see Hamilton approach the refs before the event occurs.....and even if he "suggested it" i've never seen anything like this happen before....sounds like a case of Roy being a crybaby about getting his ass waxed.

Thats exactly why its embarrassing an unranked team just beat you so bad you had to leave the court early, not a good moment for UNC basketball

Yes. If you get your ass whooped, at least have the decency to stay out there and take your medicine until the clock shows all zeroes. You don't even have to keep trying - just be there.

For as much as I dislike Coach K, I could never imagine him pulling a stunt like this. This is the kind of entitled arrogance that only a UNC or Notre Dame could attempt to justify.

I would leave the team if I was one of those walk-ons...

basically the message Roy sent was "Hey kids you guys stay here and get trampled by fans why us important people run to the locker room and hide like girls"

I now have some respect for a few UNC players ? those left behind ? and less than zero for Williams.

I didn't see the game so this is the first knowledge I have of this. If this indeed happened, then Williams should be suspended from the University pending an investigation, and if nothing short of death threats being made directly toward him and his "stars" is uncovered then he should be fired.

This is completely reprehensible. In his polluted eyes, doing the right thing should have been pulling his entire team from the floor and "quitting" with 14.2 seconds left if that's what he's made of. Stupid asses need to pay for stupid decisions, State Penetentiarys are loaded with them. On the more noble side, Captain Edward Smith of The Titanic made a stupid decision and at least had the balls to go down with his ship. This is indeed pathetic.
