Id rather be 1-11 with a win over tsun than any scenario that involves losing to them.

I don't know how long I'd stomach it but one season? Fuck yes. Give me a shit season and burn the bandwagon. The only people left after that are real ones.

Don't disagree one bit about "burning the bandwagon". This fanbase could use a good culling of the herd.

The first sentence I would agree with completely, losing to tsun so much cannot happen. It just can't.

But I get both sides in the approach moving forward and I've thought/posted about it, but I will put a plug in it until we see how the CFB plays out. Not sure that it will change my opinion short of a Natty, but we've got ball to play and a redemption moment could occur. As to this thread, I hope Bjork is just being a spokesman until a tough decision may need to be made.

If we make the Natty in the first year of a 12 team playoff, I am ambivalent. If we lose before then, yes. Please burn it to the ground. Welcome to the big times Ross.

Someone needs to help me with this. I didn't start following the Bucks until Cooper, so I have no memory of Bruce coaching. I hear comments about how great Bruce was against ttun, but his record is just above average at 5 wins and 4 losses. What am I missing?
Earl and the b-ball coach got into a pissing contest with Cincinnati high school coaches. Next Michigan and Notre Dame recruiting started getting the top talent in SW Ohio. First thing Cooper did when named HC was to drive to Cincinnati and begin mending fences.

He was as bad of a fence mender as he was a coach then.

So far Ross earns about the best grade he can for me. I know its early and the body of work will play out, but I think he was at the very least the perfect hire to replace Gene in the modern landscape of CFB. I also get the sense he is brutally honest and will not let loyalty override results at the end of the day. If he keeps it up, he is going to be here for a long time and I say that not only because of the Natty in football.

Can't speak for other schools, but Coop cut Michigan out of Moeller, Elder, and Colraine. Matt Keller, Rob Murphy, Steve and Max Langenkamp, Jack Thrush, Ahmed Plummer from Wyoming HS, Matt Bonhaus and a big load of a running back from Elder, Jeff Cothram from Middletown, names I can think of off the top of my head. And he didn't leave Tress with an empty cupboard - the heart of the 2002/3 NC team was made up of Cooper recruits.
