Of course, he predicted USC to win and slobbed on Carrol's nob. But then he questioned the last time Penn State won a BCS game. His response: "6 years ago?"

Actually Mark, Penn State won a BCS game in 2005.

So now the collective memory of ESPN is 3 years. You haven't won a BCS game in 3 years? Blah, you must not be in the SEC or be USC. At least get the facts right. I know this isn't "fair and balanced", but please be right on facts. Manipulate them how you'd like, but be correct.

This announcer for the "Northern Illinois v Lousiana Tech" is giving me a damn headache too.

The Nittany Lions' conference really needs them to play well against the Trojans. Seriously. The Big Ten is about one more 41-14 or 49-17 BCS drubbing from getting unofficially blackballed from the national championship game.

Not that Penn State is in any way responsible for the Big Ten's recently blemished reputation -- that would be the doings of Ohio State, Michigan and Illinois -- but still, Jim Delany and his minions could really use your help, JoePa.

I am so geeked out for this game. I don't know if it's because we played USC, or for big ten pride, or what, but I am more excited for this game than I have been for a non OSU game in years. . .
