Rose Bowl - USC 32, Michigan 18 (FINAL)

Well, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree...I just have a little thicker skin when it comes to that stuff in the middle of a game. I also don't believe in extreme comparisons...for example, if someone throws a temper tantrum we don't compare them to a serial killer. However, to each his own...

I'd take DJ on my team anyday.
Tressel would too... let's not forget that DJ was a top priority in the 2004 recruiting class.

USC had much better pass protection all day, and generated a better pass rush with their blitzes, which TSUN couldn't handle. They also stuffed Hart.

I thought just the opposite would happen with the two pass rushes.

1. So much for Ron English as the Frank Broyles assistant coach of the year.

2. Why is it that USC can showboat and taut and never pick up a penalty, but let David Boston point, or Santonio dive into the end zone and the Gods of Decorum descend.

3. Will there be another assistant coaches shuffle at the Arborateum? Man, they had their asses coached off of them in this game. USC obviously studied film.

4. Anyone who tells you that the Rose Bowl is a neutral site is full of shit. Games of national importance need to be distributed throughout the country.

5. Shit! we should have been rooting for a rematch.

6. So much shit about how Michigan "fought back" in Columbus. Give the trojans credit, but had we played errorless ball the difference would not have been much different. Michigan does not have the ability to cover four talented receivers. Chad Henne can't move. Hart is too vulnerable.

7. As for November 17... BRING IT ON!

My thoughts exactly. USC made all the offensive adjustments to escape the pressure brought by Michigan. scUM did nothing to change their gameplan and Henne got sacked 5 times in the first half.
