Notre Dame (Weis) v. Michigan (Rodriguez)

  • Always Rooted for Notre Dame. RR certainly doesn't give me reason to change.

I'm not sure this is severe enough, but it is the closest choice I've seen to my feelings on the matter.

Hey, it's not easy to find meteor strike pictures. Just think of it as a big meteor strike seen from quite a distance. :)

As much as my brain tells me to root for Michigan in this game, my heart can never follow through. The only time I can actually root for Michigan is in a bowl game ONLY if we beat them to end the season. If we lost THE GAME, then I want to see them lose the bowl. Can't help it. I know it's wrong for the Big 10... but my heart is stronger than my brain... (not enough brain cells left after college)

Why do you guys want us to suck(besides the obvious reasons)? The big ten needs to get better and the only for that to happen is for us to be good again.

Go Big 10. Down with the 11th.

I realize it is much better for Ohio State when we beat up on a Michigan team that hasn't lost to a 1AA school, but.... My 2 favorite teams are still Ohio State and whoever plays michigan.

Also, thanks for the spelling lesson. :) Whenever I got the interview question about greatest weekness i always answer that i can't spell.

I was asking many, many scUM fans the exact same thing when we were in the Championship game.

Thing is, we fucking hate Rich Rodriguez. I hate him more than scUM. And now he's the coach of them. So the combination is just terrible. Worse than ND terrible.

Go Big Ten, except TSUN. :)

If you read the threads on BP, you will come away with the understanding that a lot of us would like you guys to do extremely well. In fact, to win every game except one every year.

The Big Ten can get better without TSUN recovering but many of us would prefer that the Big Ten improve and TSUN improve.

For many people here, football is not so important to evoke hatred. Others feel differently. Personally, I don't know RR and I have no reason to hate him. I just think he shows signs of really bad ethics that will harm your team, other major teams in the Midwest, and the Big Ten in general, eventually. I really do think that the problems at Indiana in basketball are your future. Some folks here disagree.

So, don't automatically assume that we all hate you guys. Do assume that we all want Ohio State to beat your team and remain perennial Big Ten champions.

Oh yeah, and we'd rather see that than eat breakfast or win every game except the one against you.

Ok then, weakness instead of weekness :)

Anyways, from a different vantage point, I always root for Ohio State to win every game. I want to meet every year like we did in '06. Obviously I'd prefer a different outcome, but for both teams to go in 11-0 makes the Big 10 look good (as long as both don't get destroyed in our bowl games), and if 11-0 Michigan beats 11-0 OSU and goes to the NC, it's an extra dagger to the back.
