Notre Dame (Weis) v. Michigan (Rodriguez)

  • Always Rooted for Notre Dame. RR certainly doesn't give me reason to change.

Wrong glass, Sir.
Who do you root for when it comes to UM-ND. For those that traditionally root against Michigan at all times anyway, it just makes your choice easier. For people like me, who root for them in all games but The Game and particularly root for them against Notre Dame, my choice in now something of a dilemma.

This is like choosing between a shit sandwich and diarrhea stew.

Can I get an open-faced shit sandwich with diarrhea stew gravy, please?

EDIT - ugh. With Ty there, I had no problem rooting for ND. With Charlie, no problem rooting for UM. I just don't know. Probably ND. Everyone knows they're a joke and an ND-victory would make it evident that RR is, too.

Common sense dictates I root for Michigan for sake of the conference.

My complete hate for everything Michigan dictates I root for Notre Dame.

The pleasant bonus is that no matter who wins, someone I thoroughly hate will lose...and the winner will still be irrelevent this year.

You forgot the option of the disabled US spy satellite.

Minus that, I will be rooting for RR. RR is going to win at AA. His demise will come from other causes.

Given that, I look forward to the education we all receive when Domers - products of that superior academic institution - rationalize CWs failure to achieve.

I root for the Big T(elev)en

Contrary to what many argue, the Big Ten is not inappropriately named. Prior to the addition of PSU we were simply the "Regularly Ten". It has only been with the addition of an 11th school that the "Ten" became "Big".

(I will agree that "Transuranic Ten" might - in it's own way - have been more descriptive. But then we have to explain the entire concept of hevy atoms to the SEC. The down side of course, is the reduced half-life of such an unstable conference. But as the Greeks taught us - nature abhors a playoff.)
