this is kinda what I figured.
makes planning any sort of family trip kinda rough. I'm not exactly close to anything worth visiting.
and because of the distance we have to go, i always try to find as many things as possible to do/see wherever we go.
that and I'm sorta limited on directions I can go as well.
My son and I flew to Ohio or THE GAME, and decided to go through Cleveland instead of Columbus. Caught a Cavs game on Friday night, drove to Cbus on Saturday morning, returned to Cleveland on Saturday night. Spent the entire day Sunday at the Hall of Fame, and loved it. Also, I would recommend Michael Symon's BBQ restaurant in downtown Cleveland. Spectacular. I would second that a trip to Cleveland in the summer, with a couple of days at Cedar Point would make a great vacation.
