Haha I didn't even have to post this time, another great DLC this week! I'll be getting all Blink and Weezer songs for sure! It's funny though, because while I was driving back to cbus today I heard My Name Is Jonas on the radio and was like man that would be a great Rockband song, glad to see they're on top of things.

Now, how about we make it 3 weeks in a row for good DLC's and get some songs such as these:

Rage Against The Machine "Guerilla Radio"
Bush "Little Things," "Machinehead," "Comedown"
Incubus "Pardon Me," "Wish You Were Here," "Nice To Know You"
Linkin Park "New Divide," "What I've Done," "Numb"

I was thinking about getting the Beatles game with just the guitar, since I don't have any music games but I'm not sure. I was at E3 though when Paul and Ringo walked out on the stage during the Microsoft conference and I almost spazzed out. Just being in the same room as two of the beatles is like going to a concert for any great band. I would have probably passed out if they did a performance.

I'm just not sure if I really want to spend $100 on this game and a guitar. A part of me does, but another part says save the money and learn how to play a real insturment lol

Eh, I never saw the movie (except for the scene with the "but this one goes to 11"), so I'll respectfully take this week off from DLC's and continue saving up for NCAA '10!

BBTW (equivalent to PPS in my book), but I played Guitar Hero 4 or 5 or whatever for the first time today and I must say their drums suck dick!! I appluad the more drum savvy layout, and the extra padding, but the sensors on them are just awful. Rock Band in my books is 1000% better (better gameplayu, menus, downloadable content, and drums)

My buddy has made the same claim. I bought Rock Band the month it came out, we usually play it at his place once a week. I've left it at his place ever since I bought it, mostly to allow him to master drums since I could already play the guitar. Having mastered just about everything on expert now, he was pretty disappointed when he picked up the GH drum set. Its flashy, and it has some sexy features, but the little things just don't make it work. Drives him crazy that star power is shared, and that he loses his streak if he activates it (They may have fixed this, I dunno, hitting cymbals for star power always killed his streak). While GH has some awesome songs out of the box, the downloadable content is nonexistant in comparison. We play GH for a few nights, then it collects dust.

We found something fun to do online just recently. I created a Hulk Hogan clone a long time ago, my buddy started going up against people online with him. We can talk in the mic to the competition, despite the fact its drums vs. drums. I proceeded to call out the other guy using my Hogan impression, thsi went on through 6 songs, and we were laughin' pretty hard on both sides. We now have Sean Connery clones, the Governator, and gonna work on an Elvis.

I agree, the GH drums seem cool in the beginning and the game comes with some great stuff, but there's absolutely nothing to download for it (my friend had like 5 downloaded songs to my like 50 for Rock Band).
