I finally played Visions on RB2 for the first time last night.

Two thoughts:

1) I failed out at about 24%. I'm still not good at alt-strumming. Normally, I'd love this kind of challenge and would look forward to beating the song. But...

2) Holy shit this song sucks. I mean, it's really bad. It's one thing for a good song to be hard as hell, it's quite another for the worst song in the game to be hard. I mean, it's freaking terrible! What were the game-makers thinking? "I know! Vision's will break people's fingers! Put it in!"
"Uhhh...sir? Have you heard it?"
"So what? It's hard!"
"Yeah, but it sucks."
"But it's hard and that's all that matters. Put it in."

I doubt I'll even try to beat it again. I don't want to listen to it.

To prove their is justice in this world hopefully he's a virgin well into his 30's.

I really have a hard time strumming with the Rock Band guitar. Might be time to invest in a wireless GH guitar.

In related news, I was pissed that I went over my buddy's house Wednesday for Rock Band/Guitar Hero only to find that I couldn't sing We Are the Champions/Fat Bottomed Girls till the download came out the next day...so I'll probably have to wait until next week :mad2:

Everyone seems to be getting nostalgic over Pearl Jam these days: to celebrate the upcoming re-release of Pearl Jam?s debut album Ten, both MTV and VH1 will be taking a look at how the seminal 90?s rock band helped shaped a decade of music.

But while watching flattering specials and classic music videos from Pearl Jam is cool, Rock Band is taking the celebration up a notch by releasing Ten as downloadable content on the same day it?s being released in stores. This leaves us wondering why we would go to store to buy a CD we can merely listen to, when we can download the entire album to the comfort of our living rooms and actually play along, but we certainly aren?t complaining.

If that?s still not enough Pearl Jam love for you, Xbox Live subscribers have a chance to play Rock Band 2 with the band?s drummer Matt Cameron in a special ?Game with Fame? session being hosted on March 27th, and there will be more Pearl Jam hits released as DLC throughout the month.

Releasing music albums as DLC on the same day they debut in stores is definitely something we?d like to see more of in the future, so we?re hoping Pearl Jam still has enough sway to influence other big players in the music industry. And judging from all the Pearl Jam hoopla going on this month, it certainly seems like they do.

Hadn't heard they were planning more Pearl Jam DLC. Very nice.
