What's absolutely hilarious is the thread on the UM Rivals board taking RR's agent's statement as the final, "see--nothing wrong" say on the matter.

Yes boys, RR's agent is most definitely the final, unbiased word. Now, back to your comfortable slumber.

By the same token, don't forget that these accusations are coming from a party that is suing RR for $4M.

Why not. He owes it. His attempt to manipulate his resignation date showed intent to weasel out of paying.

I don't hate UM. I don't use any of the creative acronyms for the university. In fact, I view them as a great athletic rival but also a fellow Big Ten and CIC member. As such, they are far more of a partner to Ohio State than any of the backstabbing, little in-state Fredo Universities.

At the end of the day, if this was just one thing. Contacting Pryor...or manipulating his resignation date...or the shredder/hard drive accusations...or the trip to Toledo for "financial advice." If it was just one thing, I could dismiss it, but where there's this much smoke, can one seriously believe that there's no fire?

In the context of the athletic rivalry I'm torn. Yes, I can't help but enjoy watching as the Harvard of the Midwest slowly learns that they've hired a duplicitous, underhanded Hillbilly with hairplugs to lead their football program. OTOH, I can't help but be a little apprehensive as to what this scumbag's effect on The Game and The Rivalry might be.

My point was not that WV has no basis to sue RR, but rather that they are just as biased a source as RR in this case. Not saying they are wrong or lying, but rather that we can't know for sure right now unless you are posting from RR's old office.

Well, I'm sure ORD would have posted from there - but they wouldn't let any work product leave the building.

(Something about leaks and electrons and the inter-tubes).

Don't forget the mysterious recruitments of Noel Devine and Jason Gwaltney.

Or the fact that two of the NFL's most notorious trouble-makers, Chris Henry and PacMan Jones, both played in Morgantown without having trouble staying eligible.

Maybe he is clean, but from where I sit, all the evidence is making it look like he is definintely hiding something......

Or being the one D1 program willing to give Pat Lazear a scholarship. Sure, he was a completely unrepentant accessory to felony armed robbery who (along with his parents) continues to portray himself as the real victim (not the guy who had a loaded gun shoved in his face), but damn it he was a Rivals 5*.

This guy is just dirty to the core in how he runs his football program, how he runs his professional life and how he deals with his hair loss. I think all of us "haters" will have the last laugh rather quickly.
