Keep repeating that mantra Oswho? - even though it doesn't fit the record.

Thats been my whole point with his big game choking, he WAS the big boy of the BE. He was the bigest guy on a block full of asthmatic nerds and got his ass kicked by them when he tried to be the bully.

One could make an argument that Pitt does as well.
Outside of Slaton, Dykes, and Devine is there even anybody on that WVU team that is a legitimate NFL prospect? Pat White is a great athlete, great college player, but he's not going to sniff the NFL.
West Virginia has 8 former players active on 53 man game day rosters in the NFL right now.
Pitt has 17 former players active on 53 man game day rosters, and USF has 6 former players active on 53 man game day rosters.
This notion that WVU is or has been loaded in comparison to Pitt and USF is just laughable. Pitt will always put out NFL players as the state of Pennsylvania is one of the most fertile for talent in America. South Florida is getting more and more talent to come to USF instead of going to Florida, Miami, and FSU. They are in THE most fertile recruiting state in the country and will be a power-team very soon. USF is a beautiful campus and is the second largest school in the state.
That must be why it was a 4 TD point spread. One could make an argument that Pitt does as well.
So who are all of these NFL players on Pitt's roster?Outside of Slaton, Dykes, and Devine is there even anybody on that WVU team that is a legitimate NFL prospect? Pat White is a great athlete, great college player, but he's not going to sniff the NFL.
no, no.. can you provide a link to back up what you're saying?Oswho?;1034587; said:I don't need a link. I watched him play.
Most of his snaps were from the shotgun, and when they threw the ball most of the time they used 4 wide sets.

Right now Pitt has over twice the amount of active NFL players as WVU.
Pitt has recruited some pretty good players over the past 2-3 classes.
I would not be surprised at all to see the following wind up in the NFL over the next 2 years;
Jeff Otah (OT)
Aaron Berry (CB)
Scott McKillop (LB)
LeSean McCoy (RB)
Nate Bynham (TE)
There are some others that will probably be in the NFL in the next 3-4.
And just look at their class this year.
Lucas Nix is rated by Scout and Rivals as a 5* and one of the top 5 OT's in the country. Jonathan Baldwin was offered by everybody and is thought by many to be one of the top 5 receiver prospects in the country.
