Would anyone do me a favor and get a video clip of the temper tantrum that Rich threw on the Molk chop block? I believe it was in the second half on the red zone INT by Denard. The face RR makes while attempting to get his head set off was awesome. Greenies your way if you do.

I don't think RR was mad about the chop block per se, he was mad that Molk didn't cut the guy to the ground because DRob had to throw around/over him causing the INT. I think he was yelling, "YOU GOTTA GET HIM DOWN!!!"

I don't know what particularly got his panties in a bunch. I just thought the way he contorted his face and looked like a petulant child was hilarious. There's passion, and then there's idiocy. I saw the latter in this breakout.

I reeeeeeaaaaally hope they podcast the opening to Valenti's show on 97.1 in Detroit today (at 2:00). Great perspective on the MSU/scUM game and where the programs stand at the moment.

Valenti is a huge MSU fan but he's never been afraid to bash MSU when warranted. He's been a careful to keep the recent success relative to scUM in perspective. Today was the first time he's flat out said MSU may have reached 1b status in the state. Beautiful segment.

Recruiting - Last couple classes were negatively impacted by drama around the program, but the coaches did a great job. "There's a lot of negative recruiting that goes on - and we've got a great thing to sell - but you've still got to fight it and our coaches have done a good job."

Doesn't want his coaches to fight fire with fire in negative recruiting "I'd rather just sell all the good things we have here." Will compare things like schemes, but doesn't talk negatively about other institutions. "It's not as bad in our league, in the Big Ten, than it is in other leagues."

Isn't this the same staff that is trying to sell Doran Grant on the fact he would make a better safety than corner simply because it's the one thing they can think of that is different from what other staffs are selling?
