Tressel, Urban Meyer, Lou Holtz, Saban, Miles are all coaches I can name off the top of my head who won a NC at a major school within a couple of years of taking over the job. I'm sure there are many others.

The myth of a lethargy addiction outbreak and sub MAC level talent left in the cupboard for poor Rich Rod are about as accurate as shoeless Joe can't throw or whatever the fuck they call the fast one.

There's one parallel to what DickRod has done at tsun (take a traditional power and run them into the ground at an alarming rate), and it's Bill Callahan. Actually, what rr's doing makes Callahan look like Knute Rockne...

I dunno, I think if you have a QB who couldn't hit water if he fell off of Bill Martins boat, you instinctively start to focus on other things, like his hair or if he ties his shoes and such. His taste in music and his 40 times would also be good.

Basically anything to keep the mind occupied and off of the fact he's your best bet at QB and he can't, well,...throw.

No kidding. As a Raider fan, I remember telling Nebraska fans they should hope for an 0-11 season so they can get rid of him ASAP. This is soooooooooooooooooo much worse.
