Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

And "Shreddergate" gets a bit more interesting!

Queue those scUMmy RR supporters that this is all RR hater propaganda:

"Because, you know, most likely it was the Detroit Free Press that called the NCAA and had them go investigate WVU because those hack bastards, well, they are just out to get RR, ya know!!11!!1! RR WILL DOMINATE THE BIG 10 WITH THE SPREAD!!! EVERYBODY IS JUST SCARED AND TRYING TO SABOTAGE RR!!!! LONG LIVE DickRod!!!!! YEARRRRRGHHHH!!!!"
somehow the coaches of Renaissance high school are also to blame.

You know, really, it's sad to see anyone go through something like this. I feel deeply for TSUN fans.

This new revelation sounds ominous for Tsun football, the NCAA has found five violations in the U-M program and now is going to see if this is a repeated pattern of behavior, endemic process of rules violations under RR regime in other programs.
Will be interesting to see if they find evidence of excessive practice time, coaches who monitor voluntary workouts, etc., and decide to impose some kind of serious personal penalty or actual ban on his future participation (think Sampson at Indiana) along with the penalties to be exacted on TSUN's football program.

What the article doesn't say is that the NCAA got the tip on potential violations at WVU from a guy named David Brandon.

Paradoxical as it may sound, RR might already be gone were it not for OSU's Jim O'Brien.

Amani Toomer Bashes Rich Rodriguez

"I think they're doing a dis-service to the players that sign up for that system. Because, that doesn't translate to the pros. You know what, I've had scouts tell me when they look at offensive lineman in a spread offense, 'I can't even evaluate him.' They are not doing anything they would do on Sundays. They would rather look at a lineman in a pro system."

Dhani Jones Thinks Rich Rodriguez Is 'Terrible'

"I'm not cool with him," Jones said of Rodriguez. "I'm at my wits end right now. I mean, you can't come in and explain that you're going to do all this, and then your first year? Terrible. Second year? Alright -- but then terrible. You have to be able to change something if you're really going to make a statement. You have to do it within the first two years, and this is his third."

Sampson was in another universe. Unless they find tater tot bound and gagged in dick's closet, he won't see anything near what happened to sampson.

rodriguez could be fired without a parting gift, though, which is a substantial punishment. the primary difference between rodriguez and sampson would be that rowdy roddy could (and would) be immediately hired at a large program. he was made for a program like texas tech.
