Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

So over the past 2 season, UM has paid $10 million plus attorney fees to have RRod destroy their program. For those counting that is $1.25 million+ per win.

Sorry to reply so late, I was overseas.

Expensive? I think not.

After all, by your accounting, the losses were free. You don't get much for free in these tough economic times. :)

This contract ain't what it seems, they want me to pay em in coon-skin hats and buckshot, do you know how hard it is to find racoons in ann arbor? I hope these mullet-skin hats we've been making out of the cheerleaders will fool em.

Rich...you would be amazed at how hillbilly Southeast MIchigan can be. Just drive 10 miles outside of Ann Arbor...to the south, or west...and you will be in Nascar heaven.

They don't call 'em Walmart Wolverines for nothing.

Actually, it's Nascar "country" once you cross south of I-94. I live about 15 miles from the Outhouse and trust me, outside of Detroit Metro and AA, the rest of Southeast MIchigan reminds me of Southeast Ohio.

You kiss your mother with that mouth?

Say what you will about SE Ohio... but at least it's BEAUTIFUL... rolling hills and some of the best motorcycle riding I've ever experienced.

Try riding the kettle moraine area around the Mississippi river valley through Northern Illinois, Iowa, and Southern Wisconsin.

Sad to say that I sold my bike when I left grad school in '95. '91 VFR 750. I left to head to DC and then Chicago. I'd been dead three times over had I taken the bike with me to either city.

I do live in the Chicago burbs... maybe a nice drive on four wheels will be in order. Thanks for the reco!

No, I think it goes like this:

The only people that want DickRod to stay are those who enjoy watching him fail miserably. :wink2:

Could it be they are so Hillbilly because that's where the term originated? Duh.

The term certainly didn't originate in TSUN. Hillbillies brought it along with them when they were hired by FoMoCo en masse because it was believed they wouldn't unionize.

Folks from Appalachia were the Mexicans of the 1930s (at least as far as the auto industry was concerned).

Noob . It's Michigan;
Early editions of Websters Dictionary include a definition of hillbilly as "a Michigan Farmer".
