Bullshit.
On that you don't have to provide links -- the Charleston and other WV papers regularly have their Dick Wadriguez Defamation League articles.

Then again there are questioning / questionable articles emanating from Michigan and Detroit news sources.

Rodriguez lawsuit heads back to state court

By The Associated Press

MORGANTOWN - The lawsuit over a $4 million buyout clause in the contract of former West Virginia University football coach Rich Rodriguez is headed back to the court where it originated.

A federal judge ruled today that the matter belongs in Monongalia County Circuit Court. That's where WVU filed the case after Rodriguez resigned to take the head coaching job at Michigan.

WVU had argued that because it's an arm of state government, it can only be sued in state court.

U.S. District Court Judge John Bailey agrees. He says the university is not an independent body.

The ruling also says it's clear the outcome of the case will have an impact on state funds because any money paid to or held by the university is considered the state's money.

On the subject of Rich Rodriguez, I've heard a lot of variations of his name and such. But, whenever I hear like "Rick Rod" or "Rich Rod", I always think of this song.

I moved the discussion about Woody and Tressel to the Tressel thread. It didn't belong here.

This thread is dedicated to Rich Rodriguez, seen above

(a) as some old guys from the 1969 TSUN team try to help him deflect the national discussion about his ethics or

(b) trying to get some old guys from the 1969 TSUN team to shake down boosters to help him find about $4 million or

(c) trying to pretend he's saying something of significance to some obviously bored guys from the 1969 team (possible sleeper on second chair from left?) while he attempts to show TSUN fan he gets it (but hopefully avoids getting the other thing from WVa) or

(d) all of the above?

"That's a good question guys. Well, $4 million isn't this small unless it's a check or electronic transfer, in which case it's smaller. Hey, you on the left, this is important. It can be bunches of cash about this size, but then we need lots of those smaller 'donations'. Anyone still confused?"

That group probably looked more cheerful and enthusiastic the last time they all got together. Which would have been at Bo's memorial service in the stadium in AA.
