TigerNet is the only forum I've ever seen where one play call gets 15-20 different threads that fill up the first 2 pages of the forum during games, or where one topic will get 10 different threads that garner 2-5 responses each scattered throughout.

If you switch mountains with lakes, corn/wheat for grain crops with potatoes, and pedo shower sex scandal cover ups with church embezzlement cover ups, the two programs and fan bases are completely identical in culture and behavior.

A bunch of weird, jaded hicks in the middle of nowhere with a chip on their shoulder.

This.

A better, and more recent, example of the Southern Georgia Bagman Game would be the fact that Kirby continues to somehow pull in 5 STAR qbs despite the fact that he makes them ride the bench to play 3 star walk ons instead.

I've dipped over there in the past for a tasty dose of schadenfreude and it is the most unnavigable board out there. Like you said, it's just a bunch of hicks that don't seem to understand that every thought that pops in their pea brains doesn't require a whole new thread. The whole first page will literally be 50-100 threads with 1 or 2 posts bitching about a playcall.

If a courtroom stenographer was able to transcribe the stream of consciousness of a homeless person with multiple-personality-disorder who talks with himself out loud and reads random headlines from newspapers that he finds in street corner trash bins, it would resemble the discourse on TigerNet.
