Reverend Dabo Swinney (HC Clemson Tigers - GSCS), random mid-century cars, and steroids

On the note about TaterNet that I made regarding their thread posting habits, here are 3 entirely SEPARATE "threads" about essentially the same subject as this one that were scattered throughout the first 2-3 pages of the forum (and there were a quite few more but it would be redundant to display them all):

That’s magnificent coming from a guy that probably wouldn’t hesitate to name his kid ‘Dabo.’

“I call him ‘Larry’ whenever he comes to the plate, because I’m not going to call a grown man ‘Chipper.’”
- Mike Piazza

I'm also confused about the "UGHAY" insult. Is that supposed to be a PC way of spelling "UGAy"? Or is it suggesting that UGA fans are hicks (farms have hay?). If the latter, Athens is about 60 minutes from Metro Atlanta and is way more developed than upstate South Carolina in the Potata' fields where Clemson is randomly located, so I don't see how they'd be able to play that angle really well. If Ohio State or UCLA fans tried to play that angle, I could see it, but not from the Taters.

I dunno either, but what I do know is I've never seen a dog stand up and then lean over to stick his hand up another player's crotch after a play was over. So... I guess I wouldn't really worry much about what it is intended to imply, at least from that fanbase.

This.

A better, and more recent, example of the Southern Georgia Bagman Game would be the fact that Kirby continues to somehow pull in 5 STAR qbs despite the fact that he makes them ride the bench to play 3 star walk ons instead.
I’d point to Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint’s mom setting up a non-profit to openly accept cash payments from people looking to gain her favor. Georgia won that sweepstakes.

Congarts on the win vs Bama by the way.

I already congratulated you for real somewhere else.

I was making fun of the Clemson 'tard for misspelling congrats

LOL I missed that.

I probably would've picked up on it if you followed that up with a "— but/however" and a long diatribe about how Kirby runs a dirty program and/or how UGA is LSU 2.0.

ETA: I honestly didn't even notice it on the original screen shot either. I try not to read their stuff too closely out of fear that whatever mental illness plagues them may be contagious.
