Not sure I like that comparison. Hoke's a buffoon, but he "gets" the rivalry. He just can't do anything about it. Coop never "got" it.

I don't like the comparison either...Hoke couldn't sniff Coop's jock in terms of coaching.

To be fair, IIRC, that Michigan team was decimated by injury in a few games, I know Wheatley missed a couple of their losses and was back in time to play us. They also beat Penn State that year, who only lost to them and us.

I realize Watson is just a freshman with little experience, but I wasn't greatly impressed with him compared to JT. Time will tell.

You can't forget that being a true freshman QB and a redshirt freshman QB is a HUGE difference. Both physically and mentally.
