Ironically, it took you guys 35 years to get your title this year, and it took us 34 to get our next trophy (and these two games are the best championship games I've witnessed, bar none). Congratulations on your victory, and we look forward to playing you guys in Austin next season.

Tonight just made me realize how tough your defense was!!!! You guys deserved to be there more than usc by far!!! Vince was asked in the post game if it was the loudest place he had played, and he said Ohio State was the loudest place he had played. Anyway you guys were a much better complete team than usc. Agree...I am so happy for you guys...USC has ripped my heart out (when I was young) too many times to root for them. Great game. I knew once Vince Young got the ball with time left, you guys had the game. I am so impressed. Hope he goes pro...

Even without Young, I doubt we blow you out, although I think we'll win if Young is gone. However, if Young is back, I'm about 99.8% sure Texas will win, albeit fairly close in a shootout.
