As some of you know I am currently deployed to Afghanistan getting ready to take a command soon. We are in a pretty isolated spot. The Soldiers here are working pretty much 20 hours a day. There isn't a lot of joy to be had here. We aren't on a super FOB. What I was hoping was that some of you could send some care packages out here, hopefully with a buckeye flavor so they know who's taking care of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The things I think the guys would like would be magazines, sports related or Maxim's. They don't have to be new, trust me. They are pouring over six moth old Sports illustrateds like they were hot off the presses. Other than that snacks, games, socks, letters. Anything would be appreciated. Just send them to me and I'll distribute them to the Soldiers. My address is

I remember what it was like receiving care packages, and conversely what it was like not receiving anything, while I was in Iraq. I will get some packages together and get them out this week.
