There is no way for people like you and me to know. Mods can figure it out, as I know that one anon ding to Goof some time last year lead to a banning (The ding was way over the top in terms of offensiveness etc.)

I'd consider an anon ding as meaningless. The reason they don't sign the ding is because they're worried about retailiation. I always sign my dings, good and bad, and you should too. If you feel strongly enough about it to ding, having the stones to put your name on it should be no big deal.

Nope, that's my stage name.

And when I say stage name, I'm talking about community theatre, not dancing at clubs.

good to know :)

Is there a way that you can tell who gives you your rubies? The rubies I have have no comments on them is that how it always is?

the only way you'll know who left the rubies is if they leave their name.... other than that there is no way to know.

alot will leave their name only if the poster they are dinging is in the red, since that poster can't get'em back since they have no rep power, some good people will leave their names, but i think the system should be changed to so the name is automatically put on the ding and you can add comment if you want to so it keeps people from giving dings and the person recieving it not knowing who it was

I'm just wondering how you know what people do when they send rep to people in the green. :wink2:

Holy Shit! About three weeks ago Clarity started the new rep system to eliminate the problem of everyone having maxed out reps. While the system is really cool and eye-catching, some folks are already racking up the Gold Buckeye Leaves, and soon folks will have them running across the screen. It may be time to add an additional award level. I would suggest that after someone gets enough for the 11th GBL (12,210,001 points), they instead get the next level of award and the jewels reset like they do when you get a GBL (of course, with this higher award, the GBLs get reset, too). I think maybe a derivative of the BP logo would work, as soon below:

Any other ideas or suggestions?

I like the idea.

What happens when people max out the little BuckeyePlanet logos? What then? It's madness. MADNESS, I SAY!

Really, though, I think the indicators should retain some semblance of uniformity. The little football does look cool, but I'd prefer something like a platinum buckeye leaf over a completely different image.
