Replacing bread with fried chicken?

I have been making my sandwiches this way for years.

Works well with most lunch meats. Not so great with peanut butter.

Blasphemy. There is no wrong way to prepare or eat peanut butter. In fact, making the sandwich inside-out so you get to lick peanut butter off all your digits is preferred.

A coworker called KFC at 9am yesterday to make sure they were going to have this thing.... all I hear is "Do you have such and such...... I WILL SEE YOU AT ELEVEN!"

Half of my office went and they were all fat and happy when they returned.

All right, I finished it and the fries and still working on the Pepsi. Overall, it was a good sandwich. I wish it were about 4 more bites because I'm not totally full. I eat a lot though.

The only thing that would have made it better was if the bacon was better. It was the really thin bacon and so I could only taste a hint of bacon. If they used the Wendy's apple-smoked bacon (thick sliced), the sandwich would have been the shiznit.

After all is said and done, I would definitely recommend the sandwich. The $4.99 price tag for the sandwich alone is a little pricey in my opinion. I got the original recipe, but they also offer the grilled version.

I'll probably wait for a coupon to come out before I buy another because I don't like spending $7.60 on a meal and still be hungry.
