How Many Teams Will Finish the Regular Season Undefeated Pre-Bowls/CFP

I presume you mean All FBS teams.

There are currently 14 undefeated FBS teams, by conference:

AAC: Houston, Memphis, Temple
ACC: Clemson, Florida State
Big Ten: Iowa, Ohio State, Michigan State
Big XII: Baylor, Oklahoma State, TCU
MAC: Toledo
PAC: Utah
SEC: LSU

Memphis and Houston play each other, so that eliminates one team.

Clemson and Florida State play each other, so that eliminates another team.

Baylor, TCU, and Okie State all play each other, so that eliminates two more teams.

Ohio State and Michigan State play each other, so that eliminates one more team.

So, there can only be a maximum of nine undefeated teams at the end of the regular season.

I'll say five make it through undefeated: one each from AAC, ACC, B1G, and Big XII, plus Toledo.

I think Ohio St, Iowa, and Houston go undefeated. Florida St is a toss-up; they lose if Dalvin Cook's hamstring causes him to miss the Clemson or Florida games, they win out if he's healthy. Oklahoma St is interesting because they're the Big XII team nobody talks about, but they get TCU, Baylor, and Oklahoma all at home.

Down goes FSU and Utah!

Stanford looks like a serious baddass 1 loss team. Hope they lose another game...How did the NW Nerds beat them?

Still not buying it. They have OR, CAL and the Domers left. Can lose one of those. Then there's the PAC c-ship. I don't see anyone in the playoffs for the second best conference:mock:

It would be amazing if Iowa, Houston and tOSU were still undefeated after the post season.
Not sure if you posted what you meant to post. Iowa and tOSU are in the B1G, which means they will play each other at the CCG if they are still undefeated after the regular season, which means both cannot be undefeated after the post season.
