You're really on to something. Even more so, we need there to be SOME story out of the B10 other than how "down" the conference is, how "slow" it is, all of the discipline issues, etc. If the media wants to hype OSU-Illinois into the clash of the titans, that helps us all the more when we paste them by four TDs.

Cal has a number of games coming up that will be high-profile. We have...umm...well, Penn State fans might wear white shirts again? Michigan has only gone from dreadful to average, and unless they go on a tear, that game isn't going to mean much more than Texas-Aggie or USC-UCLA to the average voter.
