The only people worse at their jobs than the Reds are Enquirer reporters. I don't mind Phillips being a dick in this instance, even though his OBP sucks.

I'm no fan of sports journalists, but Phillips was pretty far beyond the pale taking shots at the guys physical appearance...it's made worse by the fact that Phillips is very quickly becoming a league-average or worse player who thinks he should be getting Votto-level $. While Rosecrans' tweet was snarky, Phillips' OBP is shitty. This despite the fact Brandon gets numerous fat pitches to hit at cleanup due to the NL's top two in OBP hitting in front of him.

"Makes it" as in pitches effectively for the Teds ever again in his baseball life? A cream puff has a batter chance at lasting 8 hours in front of Hoke.

Hamilton is coming up next week. Hopefully he can at least scare some of these guys into playing harder for a change. Awww, who am I kidding. Duhsty will probably not play him and even if he does, the veteran has no worries whatsoever of losing any playing time.

So, the Reds can take one of the best starters in the game and make him their bitch in back to back outings but typically lose to the fresh faced rookie or ragged veteran off the dung heap. 
It's going to be very interesting now to see if the Cardinals start Wainright vs the Reds in the playoff game.
