When Rolen just saw 4 pitches low and away, and the C sets up there again, the chances of hitting something high and inside were quite low. The pitch may have been a mistake, but, it was the best place to miss, in my IMO.

A good young player turns on that and sends it into the seats. I bad old player is too slow to turn on it, as we saw. So you are right, it was a good place to miss when Scott Rolen is at the plate. Against someone else, it's a terrible pitch.
