@MLB_PR: If necessary, Wednesday's @SFGiants @Reds Game 4 would start at 4:07pm ET on @MLB_TBS. #RedsOctober

Yes because god knows the fucking Yankees couldn't play an afternoon game or anything.

9:30, 9:30, 5:30, 4:30

It could be worse. Think about the Giants fans. Due to the Yankees their game is on at 2:30 and 1:30 on a weekday. At least for Reds fans the starting times are close to times most people get off work.

Yes it would. I'm rooting for the Nats to lose b/c I think their decision to shut down Strasburg was terrible. Might as well be the Redlegs that take them out.

They will be lucky to win 2 out of 3 vs. the Cards at home. They had a chance to have 3 games pitched by an ace. Instead they will have 2, and the other 3 pitched by guys who frankly are not that good. Zimmerman has an ERA of about 4.4 since August. Edwin Jackson? Not only is he the poster boy of mediocrity, but has also gotten rocked recently. Then Ross Detwiler, who is in the his first full year of starting. He has done ok, but is no innings eater and in no way overpowering.

With Strasburg in their rotation they are scary. Without him, they are going to need 1 of their pitchers to pitch over his head in the current series, and then have probably 2 of them in the next do the same (or their offense blows up). Sitting Strasburg was an incredibly stupid move. I understood if they wanted him to pitch less, but to not even use him in the playoffs is idiotic. I hope the Nats never see the post season again and they kick themselves for shutting him down. Or better yet, Strasburg leaves Washington for a big payday and then beats them in the playoffs while flipping them the bird at the end.

im guessing he's done for the rest of the post season, even if they get to the World Series, with this twisting motion, just don't see it happening

World Series doesn't begin until Oct 24, so Cueto will be 2-1/2 weeks out from his injury if the Reds can make it. Completely doable.

As for the rest of this series and Leake being on the roster, it doesn't really concern me terribly until we start projecting games against the Cardinals. At least Leake for a start or long relief at GABP doesn't mortify me with the Giants line-up. Limit the damage to Posey's solo HRs and it's completely doable. GABP should play 'normal' as cold as it is this week.

I knew they should have shut him down before the playoffs started to avoid any possibility of injury!

Except for the fact he got injured in the playoffs.

Anyway, this isn't as bad as people make out thanks to the Reds manager. Now Latos will pitch twice in this series and the next (if they get that far). Dusty was probably going to stick with his hard, soft, hard thing and give Cueto and Arroyo two starts (unless this series goes 5). Now it will be Latos and Arroyo, which is better (again, unless this series goes 5). Yes, Leake is definitely worse than Cueto (or what in actuality would be replacing a Latos start since Latos is taking Cueto's starts), but let's not forget Cueto has been real shaky lately. Even in games where he pitched well he was often lucky.

It still sucks, but it's not as bad as people are making out thanks to the fact the manager is an idiot who wasn't going to start Latos twice until now.
