Reds Tidbits (2012 Season)

oh, and a big LOL at the people on twitter and RZ just completely bashing Dusty for starting Arroyo over Bailey tonight...I wanted the experience, we know Bailey has got the mental capacity of a 6 year old, if it's going good, he's in a candy store, but as soon as the ice cream falls off the cone, he's gone

7 teams have come back from a 0-2 deficit in a 5 game series in MLB history. Only 1 team in the history of baseball has won the first 2 on the road in a 5 game series and lost the series. The 2001 Oakland A's. No team in MLB history has won the first 2 on the road and then lost the next 3 at home (the old NLCS and ALCS 5 game setups were 2-3, so there is a rather large sample size).

In other words, the Reds are about to make history.

hate Duhsty...but it was absolutely the right move to pitch Arroyo in game 2...if he's 'off' he has a chance to still go 6 in a park that big...if he's 'off' at GAPB he's chased after 2. Good call by Duhsty. Yes, that hurt to type.
