Well, the Reds got their 1 run in 9 innings. Well on their way to averaging being shutout by the time the playoffs roll around.

Yet hey, when you go up against a superstar like Kyle McPherson on his 3rd full start in the major leagues, who can expect more than 1 run?

Good thing the Pirates are allergic to hanging sliders.

82nd loss for them, the streak continues...

Whiny Bitches have a 5-run lead on the Nats. Reds could be back in a tie for the best record with three to play.

That win was nice. Better savor it since they're going to get swept in their last six games.

Everyone is healthy and the Reds have 3 of the their top 4 pitchers going in this series. Dusty is playing his #1 lineup tonight, and I expect at least one more solid lineup. The Cards are playing for a playoff spot and are a good team. This series will show how ready the Reds are for the playoffs. I have a pretty good feeling of what is going to happen.
