Reds Tidbits (2012 Season)

Everyone is healthy and the Reds have 3 of the their top 4 pitchers going in this series. Dusty is playing his #1 lineup tonight, and I expect at least one more solid lineup. The Cards are playing for a playoff spot and are a good team. This series will show how ready the Reds are for the playoffs. I have a pretty good feeling of what is going to happen.

if by 'good feeling' you mean the Reds get swept and demoralized, I concour.

So do I.

Hopefully everyone stocked up on their 2012 NL Central memorabilia because these fucking losers are going out in the first round.

The only real question is do they get swept again?

Kind of what I was getting at. I didn't mean I felt good about the series, but that I was pretty sure what was going to happen.

BTW...it's really interesting to see a team that score more than 2 fucking runs a game. Oh, and I am not talking about the Reds.

The lack of offense will be what does them in but Baker deciding to perform the pitching equivalent of breaking up the lefties by putting a mediocre slop tosser between his two best pitchers sure as fucking hell won't help.

Nice lineup change by Fucksty, replacing Ludwick with Heisey and leaving Stubbs in. That should help the offense.

At this point the impending sweep by the Cards is the best thing for this sad fucking bunch of lifeless bums.

They might have a slim chance out in SF, they have zero chance in St Louis against this team.

Zero.

Meh. I'm happy. I don't want the best record. Dodge the Cards/Braves winner and go play San Fran.

Of course, the best case for winning at San Fran is to pitch Latos Game 1 and Bailey Game 2, and that's not going to happen, so what does it fucking matter anyway?

Thank god he popped up, I was afraid they were going to screw around and score 3-4 runs in one game and not have anything left for the rest of the week.

just think though, the longer this goes, it's gonna keep building up, then in one of the playoff games, they're gonna have a massive explosion
