Very strange watching a Reds highlight with Dick Enberg making the call.

Starting pitching has absolutely sucked since returning from the road trip, yet, we still take 3 out of 4. Thats freaking awesome!

When Votto comes back, what do people see as our starting lineup? Given the way Ludwick's been hitting recently, I wouldn't mind seeing this:
Phillips 2B
Stubbs CF
Votto 1B
Ludwick LF
Bruce RF
Rolen 3B
Hanigan/Mes C
Cozart SS
P
That would leave Frazier as the utility infielder and first bat off the bench. If Ludwick cools off significantly we may want to move him back and put Phillips back in the 4 hole, but while he's hot I think this is the best chance we have of getting people on base in front of Votto. Putting Stubbs in the 2-hole hopefully will help him get some pitches to hit.

Per Reds officials, Ondrusek has stranded his last 16 inherited runners.
Last time the Reds were 23 over .500 was Sept 4, 2010. They have not been more than 23 over since 1999.

Went to the park, stood in the shade in the concourse behind home plate after buying an upper deck ticket. Not a bad way to spend the day after skipping work.
I'm done bitching about lineups for now. Clearly, he has Mr. Magoo's luck and no matter what disastrous decisions he makes the Reds are just strolling right thru unharmed. Could have something to do with the lousy teams they've been facing though. If you're going to play a lineup like the one today, this was a pretty good day to do it. The Padres suck, Cueto was on the mound and they're on the eve of a much bigger series.
