Yup. When you look at their numbers they don't really jive with the runs they have scored and given up. Yet sometimes that is baseball. Of course it's not like they should be a below .500 team with their numbers, but they definitely have maxed out their wins with what they have.

I would say good for them since they haven't had a winning season in forever, and then I remember the same fans are Steeler fans. So they can go fornicate themselves with lead pipe.

Shit, I hope not. I didn't realize this was possible, but Ankiel is even more of an out machine than Stubbs. I'm not sure I'd even want to stash him in AAA.

I wouldn't be opposed to picking up Ankiel, provided we don't give up anything of value for him. Ankiel really isnt much of a hitter, but he is LH and is very good defensively. He is a definite upgrade over Xavier Paul.

What I'd really like to see happen is for them to trade for a LH leadoff hitter. If that doesnt happen, then they should call up Henry Rodriguez and give him a shot.

Platoon him and Stubbs. It's always important to have a guy who can give you a feeble out from either side of the plate.
