Oh, and it looks like it's also a massive Petco-style cavern that will kill home runs dead. Not that there's anything wrong with that in and of itself, but the pundits might want to revise their predictions that Giancarlo Stanton will win the HR title. Also, I can't imagine people in Miami continuing to flock to the park when most nights might end up as a 2-1 small ball scrapfest.

CINCINNATI -- Great American Ball Park will host an All-Star Game, Reds' owner Bob Castellini said Thursday.
700WLW's Lance McAllister tweeted that while hanging out with fans at the Holy Grail, Castellini told him the game was "in the offing for Cincinnati."
Cincinnati has hosted the All-Star Game four times since 1933, most recently at Riverfront Stadium in 1988.

A savvy coach might have had Hanigan drop one down also, back to back, to get your best runner in scoring position. Hanigan is a pretty good contact hitter but every now and then throwing a curve at the other team is a good thing.
