Reds Tidbits (2012 Season)

Well, at least Stubbs isn't letting his struggles at the plate affect his defense. He covered some serious ground to take away what should have been an easy double from Loney. His play in Left-Centerfield ended up saving a run this inning.

He can't run down enough gappers to overcome the rules of the game requiring him to bring a bat up to the plate with him 4-5 times everytime he starts.

The guy is a complete bust and is regressing. Watching these useless cocksuckers flail around at the plate every night makes me marvel at how Jacoby keeps his fucking job year after year.

After they officially blow it this year they better fire every fucking last swingning dick coach/manager. Then somebody needs to take a long hard look at Walt and ask what exactly in the fuck, beyond sign Votto's contract extensions, he's done.

True. I however, still want to see him play 3-4 times a week because of his defense, but he cannot, cannot be slotted into the #2 hole. Putting him in front of Votto effectively neutralizes Stubbs' biggest asset, his speed, because you can't run in front of Votto and it doesn't give Votto the chance to drive in runs, because Stubbs never gets on base. Hit him 7th/8th and when he does get on he can manufacture a cheap run by stealing bases.

I, as well as many others, have maintained really for the past two seasons that Hanigan should be hitting 2nd. He is our second highest OBP guy, despite him hitting in the 8th hole. And no Dusty, it doesn't matter that Hanigan cannot run.

Well it really depends on the rest of the team. If LF and 3B were plus bats you could more easily carry an all glove no hit CF.

The real problem is our GM has constructed a team that, except for 1B, 2B and RF, are all no hit guys.

Hamilton needs to start playing OF right now. We better not see another Alonso type situation when the guy is ready for the bigs and we have nowhere to play him. He can always go back to SS if he makes it up here and we need him there. Kid knows how to get on base and then light up the stadium! Prepare him for the majors. Don't just let guys stay in their comfort zones in the minors and never turn into the players they need at the top level.

That takes proper leadership. Right now, the Reds don't have it.

Cardinals lose Pujols and Carpenter, Brewers lose Fielder and these fucktards still can't win the division. Pathetic.

If Bob actually wants to win he better take a long hard look at Walt's body of work here. Outside of the Votto contract what the fuck exactly has he done? Has beens/never was's don't turn into triple crown contenders here Walt, you aren't in fucking St Louis anymore.

This team is fundamentally flawed, so much so that a trade deadline deal isn't going to fix it. The roster needs a major overhaul.

Bob needs to go Veto Corleone, call Luca up to his office, fire the coaching staff and make CF, LF, 3B and the bench sleep with the fishes just for fucking starters. Then, the next time Walt gives Dusty a CF that's fast and nothing else put his resignation letter on the desk and assure him either his signature or his brains are going to be all over it.

This shit is just unacceptable. There still losing, Dusty is still the manager, George Grande is still calling games and the only difference I see is a white Cory Patterson out in CF.

Fuck these fucking fucks.
