Bruce, the guy who was 5 for his last 5 AB's and has 17 HR's on the season, bunts his way on and takes second on a throwing error. Bruce bunting in the 2nd inning is bad enough but sometimes stupid fucking decisions work out well.

1 pitch later the mail room boy gets his Dustydumb ass in a rundown on a comebacker to the pitcher.

Not sure how you can call the bunt by Bruce dumb. They are essentially giving him a base hit, so why not take it? He is now 6 for his last 6. The base running play was dumb and is something that little leaguers know not to do. It cost us a run.

Total breakdown by Zito as he walks three straight, including the 8th place batter Hanigan, to walk in a run and give the Reds a 1-0 lead.
