Reds Tidbits (2011 Season)

2-2 count squeeze attempt (with a pitcher who is not locating). Dusty Baker is the dumbest mother fucker on the planet.

I was wondering if anyone else seen that. I was going to come on here and lambast that idiot yet again but its not worth the effort anymore. If there were anything, ANYTHING else on tv tonight I'd be flipping over to it. Tired of infomercials.

Honestly, at this point, I have to re think Dusty. I don't think anyone can be that stupid. Dusty is just anxious, and makes stupid decisions just so he can feel a part of the game. He sits there chewing on that toothpick desperately trying to figure out what he can do to make his mark on the game. That leads to incredibly stupid decisions since most of the time the manager simply needs to let his players play.

Of course he is also known for his stupid non decisions too, but most of them are to make sure he does not tick off anyone so he can be their bff.

Lewis is just fine as a spot starter and coming off the bench. I have no issues with the way he is playing and how much he is getting paid. Ship Gomes off to Atlanta if they want him and lets add a couple of pieces.

Any chance that Arroyo has any trade value? I appreciate what he's done prior to this year, but he's 7-8 and it looks like he's going to lean on the offense for every win, which is not good. Are there teams that have worse starting pitching than the Reds?

With the contract he has his trade value is truly zero.

We're married to that dirty little hippie for the next couple of years.

Not that I want Cordero in a game but that was a great snapshot of Dusty's bullpen mismanagement due to his idea that everyone has to have an exact role.

High leverage situation, top 9 at home and he leaves the "set up" man in because it's not a "save situation." Game over.

Closers close, dude.

Losers lose.
