Reds Tidbits (2011 Season)

I don't watch them much anyone, but I watched the game with my dad. Sadly enough, I with my minuscule knowledge said "no one runs on a 0-1 count, it's the worst count to run on." Sure enough, pitch out, Stubbs thrown out. That is little league managing by Dusty. Honestly, the guy is dumb as a rock.

Dusty, you are an idiot, and you need to go.

That, and despite Stubbs being fast and a relatively adept base stealer relative to this era, he makes a lot of his attempts closer than you'd think. From the time he got aboard I wasn't exactly confident in his ability to be successful in that situation.

You're certainly right about Dusty though - an 0-1 count just screams for a pitchout.

MVP!

Too bad The Dusty got Stubbs erased from the base paths with that stupid-ass hit-and-run.

With at the plate (now the team's worst hitter) and Stubbs on first after a single, they put that play on versus one of the best bat-missing pitchers in the league. SMH.
