Reds Tidbits (2011 Season)

My theory on that is 2 part;

1) They are all former players and therefore mostly stupid

2) They get bored and overmanage when they get a chance to actually do something besides sit there and chew.

Most managers would be well-advised to spend more of their time doing what Marge thought scouts did.

:lol: bobby valentine..

announcer saying if you a bit a ball to the 421 part at triples alley you better get a triple, then bobby chimed in "unless volquez is running in front of you":slappy:

I was going to comment that some of Bobby V's commentary is showing us why he's in the booth and not managing, but that line was CLASSIC.

I think they've stumbled to something - the Reds, for all their talent, have a glass jaw mentally.

Only for the last 10 years or so.

If the Reds lose this game, Volquez should get 2 losses on his record. One for the pitching aspect and the other for his offensive offense.

The pitching is still a "quality" start but he checks out when he should bear down and its cost him both runs.

Yeah but when you're trotting out what they were trotting out for the majority of those years, you could have the mental strength of Ronnie Lott, Cal Ripken and Steve Yzerman combined and not win more than about 80 games.

I agree but they have been amazingly consistent at always fucking up at the crucial moment and not much appears to have changed on that front.

I used to think when I said "this is a dumb baseball team" every night it was because of Dave Miley/Baboon/Narron being in charge of guys like Casey and the Donkey. Well they are a better club now but in regards to the stupidity, not much has changed.

Really fucking stupid people being led by a functional retard = hilarity (once the anger subsides).

Fisher is the first one that needs moved in my opinion. Guy has done worse than nothing since he's been up. Arredondo is on my very short list also.

Why cant these fuckers just come in the game and throw strikes? Getting ridiculous.
I'm about ready to make this my signature so that I dont have to type it every night.

Dammit!
