If Cueto and Bailey come back do you find an injury for Volquez and DL him?

There are certain players that Dusty won't take out of the lineup unless they are made unavailable to him. In the past it's been players that have been totally fucking worthless and shouldn't have been on the roster in the first place (Corey Patterson, T-Virus). Gomes can actually be useful off the bench though, so it would be stupid to just cut him loose - but you can't trust the goddamn manager to just leave him on the bench.

and walks the pitcher. Not just a pitcher, but a bad hitting pitcher. Which pretty much means all you have to do is lob it over the plate, and at worst, 1 out of 10 times he might get a single.

All I know is EV and Wood are the two worst we have this season to date. I'm especially depressed in the knowledge that Cueto and Bailey aren't really that much better.
All hopes of the franchise taking it to the next level resided in marked improvement from one, or more, of EV/Cueto/Bailey. Chances are Slim and none, Slim's laying face down in a dirty pool of water with a prison shank sticking out of his liver.
