Reds tidbits (2010 season)

I'd say to enjoy the NL Central crown because the playoffs are going to be quick.

I'm not convinced they're even going to win it. The ball-peen hammer to the kidney is still coming.

It's about goddamn time, Jonny.

This one cracked my ass up the other day:

Bailey gave up four hits with five walks and five strikeouts.

"I was just a little lightheaded," he said. "I had a headache. I thought my cap might've been too tight. I was just a little off-balance. If you're going to have one of those days, it?s a good day for (his team) to score five."

Breathing out your wrong fucking eyelids again, huh, Homer.

The missing elements for the collapse scenario is A) a good team behind the collapsing team and B) said team getting hotter than shit.

The Cards are not A and no where near capable of B since April.

... and C) in most of those scenarios, there were head to heads remaining. But still. I'm not throwing dirt on the Cardinals coffin 'til after it's over.
