I swore I would never get "excited" about the Reds until after Labor Day again. But, damn, hearing Rolen bust it wide open tonight on the radio as I drove past the stadium on my way home from class got the old juices flowing. I made it in the door just in time to see the Cuban Missle's debut... holy fuck! I had to break this out as my desktop:

The Reds have extended their lead to 7 games, just added a 22-year-old 100 MPH-throwing LHP, and will be adding Yonder Alonso and Corky Miller's mustache to the mix tomorrow. Life is good.
