Is it physically possible to throw a baseball 105 mph? That gun had to be off a bit..... but still impressive.

I read somewhere a long time ago the human body could theoretically generate enough energy to throw a ball somewhere in the 120 MPH range.

Sport Science did something on reaction times with fastballs, but not the total speed possible of a fastball.

That said, if you like baseball and physics, this site looks interesting.
