Thump, where can I find these 2 and 3 handicappers? I'd love to get them on the course for some $ with my 10 handicap. I've played some tough courses but never 20+ the cap.
Right now I'm probably more like a 1-3 handicap, I completely revamped my swing 3 weeks ago and am still trying to get comfortable with it.
67 is my best round ever on a real course (Fox Den in Cleveland a few years ago).
Oh and the clubs:
I play Ping Eye 2 Irons (that I purchased in 1990) 4-pw
Cleveland Comp Driver
Srixon 403 3 Wood
Trusty old POS 5 wood - King Cobra Ti (going to purchase an 18 and 21 degree Hybrids from Srixon)
Sonartec 21 degree Hybrid (replacing with the above mentioned 21 hybrid from Srixon)
Mizuno MPT 53 and 58 degree wedges
Odyssey Rossi II putter
I'm finally getting fitted this afternoon for a new set of sticks - probably Ping irons. I'm playing an old set from early '90's that are about a degree strong per club (cobra?). I would love to change my swing but don't have time with 3 sons (1.5, 8, 9) - when things aren't going well my only swing thought is swing harder and order a couple cold ones.
