Red Nike Mojo Golf Ball

Thats the new thing to do with allot of these courses. Real Estate groups are buying up the golf courses, and then keeping them golf courses until they could make more money with them as housing developments.

Windmill Lakes is in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by farm land. I don't know how that place would have any value other than as a golf course. That is KSU's home course if that says anything about the courses in that area.

Hawg,

have you ever played Rose's Run? I played there with my brother a couple times last year when he lived in Stow. Seemed like a pretty nice course. They have a nice bar area and a great patio out back for drinking and watching people come in.

I played it for the first time last year. My buddy lives maybe a mile from there in Munroe Falls. They had a morning deal for $20 or $25. We took a morning off and played 18. That patio is kicking on Thursday nights.

Check this course out. I've heard a lot about it this year. Anyone ever play it. A few friends and I were thinking about playing it sometime soon. Relatively cheap and looks to be somewhat challenging. Even has a Par 6 on the course. I think it's either #6 or #7 at over 600 yds.

That par 6 is just a little longer than the par 5 first hole that I posted earlier. I didn't even know there was such thing as a par 6.

Here is a pic of my least favorite par 5. You pretty much have to have perfect shots just to par.

looks like i could sky the 4 wood...

I doubt it. The blue tees are right up next to the trees in the shadows and I doubt that any club will give you enough height and distance to clear them even from the whites. A really good golfer might be able to put the 2nd shot close after a perfect 1st shot, but all the trees are pretty tall and make it hard to cut corners.

Not played it but heard it's one of the hardest courses around.

Know two guys who are a 2 and a 3 handicap respectively and both shot in the upper nineties!

Its the 13th hole at Raccoon Hill. The course has some shitty ratings on Yahoo, but that hole is a bitch. The distance says it's 433 yards. I think I hit a 7 or 8 from the tee, then a 3-4 for the second shot, and a wedge into the green. The trees pretty much stop you from cutting the tee shot.

This hole is from the first course I posted. I drove the green once before the trees filled in for the summer. It is 309 yards from the whites. It probably wouldn't be too hard for a long hitter to drive if they can hook the ball around or over the trees. All I can do is slice so I'm pretty much screwed. I lucked out the one time and accidentally made it over the trees on a bad shot.
