Notes: As we all know, restaurants have access to ingredients home cooks do not. In this case, I've been told Red Lobster® uses their Shrimp Scampi butter mix (a powder) to flavor their biscuits. So, this recipe is as close as a home cook can get to the real thing.
Red Lobsters is the AppleBees of seafood. More mullets inside then college degrees.
Actually, I remember reading somewhere that Red Lobster doesn't even have a restaurant in Maine. Although this may be Urban Legend.Red Lobster is good for me because I love seafood and live in Ohio. I love their biscuits.
If you are in Florida, Maine, or any other coastal state you will NEVER eat at a Red Lobster. It doesn't even compare to the family owned joints along the coast. Fresh seafood is the best and those people along the coast really know how to prepare it.
I hate seafood, but was convinced to have a bite of Mahi Mahi at RJ Snappers the other day and actually liked it...no fishy flavor at all. Maybe there's hope...
We're in the same boat man, I love Mahi Mahi because it is so mild.
