Recruiting Tips from boobs

Nevadabuck misses yet another one.
:tibor:

I don't follow recruiting as close as a lot of people do but it seems to me that Nevada is quickly becoming the "Tressel can't close" of recruiters... gets a lot of calls right but the few he misses each year he'll get raked over the coals. I guess the old saying is true: You can't please everyone.

Congrats to Nick on his decision and the way he went about making it... hopefully Washington's program will turn around sometime soon. USC needs more than one Pac-10 team to challenge them each year.

...Late enough to be playing second fiddle to ND for an in state guy.

The staff mismanaged the Montana recruitment and now their catching up.

How, pray tell, did they mismanage the recruitment of Montana? It was well known that the mom was not high on him going to tOSU, and nothing could apparently change that. Some things just cannot be overcome. I love when fans think they have better insight into a kids recruitment than the staff. :roll1:

As for Andrew, I think people put too much stock into when a kid gets an offer. If a kid wants to go to school a, getting an offer from school b earlier most likely isn't going to affect anything.

That's an extreme statement. I would agree with your first statement, but to say that the staff "mismanaged" the situation is not looking at the coaching philosophy. The coaches' thinking differs from the way you and I think. Just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

You'd save yourself a whole lot of time if you'd just copy and paste this repetitive gripe of yours.

Someone tell Hendrix not to verbal to the team that botched his recruitment by offering so late. I guess they just got lucky :roll1:
