Their announcement date is tentative and if they both are saying they will definitely visit, then there is reason to hope. I didn't say I expect them to be Buckeyes, I was just saying it would be quite nice if the did.

Committed: Oliver, Saine, Evege, Sanzenbacher, Herron, Blankenship, T. Washington (per BN)
Probable: Torrence, Clifford, Barksdale, Jeremiah (with grades)
Possible: Scott, Cuff, Martin, S. Thomas, O'Dowd, Morgan, Lindsey
Doubtful: Claytor, Gronkowski, Still, Brent, L. Washington, Clements, Hankerson, Clay, Hughes, Allen
Slim/No chance: All other current offerees

The above list contains only "offered" players (except for Jeremiah, who needs to improve his academics before getting his offer). Even if the Bucks sign everyone from the "committed" and "probable" categories, and half from the "possible" list, they'll still have only 14-15 players in this class. Unless things change, it looks like they staff will be sending out some new offers eventually.

I would put Major Wright as a Doubtful. Yes, we have a slim shot at him, but we do have a legit shot IMO if we can get him up for a visit.

Only changes I would have would be Brent to possible and Claytor to possible. It's been quiet on Claytor lately but I wouldn't say he is doubtful yet. Also I would move Scott up.

Oliver, Evege, Clifford, Torrence, Cuff, and Scott is an awful lot of DB's for one class, and Saine might be in the mix at DB as well. And what do you do if Dionte Allen starts giving the Buckeyes a closer look...?
Assuming Welch/Underwood are gone, Torrence is a WR, and Saine is an offensive weapon... OSU could use some depth at corner.

I can see Malcom going pro before 08, and OSU needing Coleman this year... leaving limited younger depth.

2008 Corners
Tr Sr Malcolm Jenkins (will he go pro)
Rs Jr Andre Amos
Rs Jr Donald Washington
Tr Jr Kurt Coleman
Rs So Chimdi Chekwa
Rs Fr Donnie Evege
Rs Fr James Scott / Vance Cuff / Dionte Allen

I can envision at least one more corner from Scott/Cuff/DA.

This was running thru my head with the TW commitment... would you guys take DA over Scott? Cuff? I'm not sure on ability, but leaving UM even thinner at CB by taking DA is a definite advantage (tho FSU may help with that anyway).

Thats a tough one. Im in love with Scott's game, but stealing Allen from Michigan would be a great get...

I rank them like this:

1. Dionte Allen
2. James Scott
3. Vance Cuff

True LordJeff but it is a good problem to have. In my mind it all depends on how many speed position players we get. As of now I'm confident we get:
HB: Herron
WR: Sazenbacher, Washington
CB: Evege, Scott
S: Oliver
ATH: Torrence, Cuff, Saine, Clifford
- That is 9 and I think since the '08 is more loaded with power prospects(OL mainly) and I believe that we take those 9 if we can get them(and I think we do). Allen is a wildcard right now along with Warren. Then I think the rest of the class shakes out like this, starting with big speed:
LB: One of Lindsey or Hines
DE: Ben Martin, Soloman Thomas
Then power:
OL: Blankenship, O'Dowd, Claytor
DT: Barksdale, Jeremiah, one more(Brent or Morgan, I'll say Brent)
- That's only 19 and I believe we end up with 19-20 and I'm sure there will be pursuit for one more pure WR if the spot is there.
